Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu) faces the aftermath of yesterday’s court ordeal in tonight’s Emmerdale.
After being found guilty of Leanna, Ben and Andrea’s murders, Meena was very close to being taken down to her cell by prison guard Ian, but then chaos ensued.
Carol – Nadine’s sister – attacked Meena with a shard of glass.
This led the serial killer to holding the court room hostage, threatening to cut Manpreet’s (Rebecca Sarker) throat.
Meena made her way through the prison, hoping to flee and go on the run – but she was caught out as Ian failed to unlock the door to her escape route.

Meena was taken away by armed police and tonight, she’s in her cell facing the prospect of the rest of her life behind bars.
Ahead of the sentencing, Meena is very pleased to discover her trial has made the news – again.
Elsewhere, back in the village, Liam (Jonny McPherson) is struggling to deal with the aftermath.
He finally has justice following Leanna’s murder, but can he finally begin to move forward?

With her final scenes on the way, Paige Sandhu recently told us how it feels to say goodbye to Meena:
‘It feels right that we’re at an end now. If I carried on, then it would just be over-egging the story.
