
It’s been a hectic few weeks for Emmerdale and Coronation Street fans, as both of the ITV soaps have been affected by schedule shifts.
We’ll absolutely forgive you if you have no idea when your favourite soap is on next. As a result of Wimbledon and the UEFA Women’s Euros, EastEnders, Corrie, Emmerdale and even Casualty are all being impacted.
It’s something that happens every year, but still manages to ignite fresh fury in the viewers.

What will happen in Emmerdale and Coronation Street next week?

Emotions are running high next week in Emmerdale as residents gather at the church for Nate Robinson’s (Jurell Carter) funeral.
As expected though, things do not go smoothly. Characters get into arguments, a police officer arrives, and amid the chaos, John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) desperately tries to keep himself together as he attends the funeral of the man he murdered.
Elsewhere, Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) is about to make a life-changing decision about her future – and it’s going to impact Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill).
In Coronation Street, Mick Michaelis (Joe Layton) breaks out of prison and takes hostages.
