
Ex EastEnders actress Gillian Taylforth has been arrested for drink-driving – the second time the soap star has been caught over the limit behind the wheel.
And as she was breathalysed by police, her fiancé Dave Fairbairn, who was in the car with her, was also arrested for shouting at the police, it has been reported by The Sun.
Gillian was arrested in the early hours of Saturday morning at 1.25am in Hertford, five miles from where she lives in Broxbourne.
Police confirmed the 59-year-old actress had been arrested. She is now on bail and will return to court on February 23.
Gillian is best known for playing EastEnders’ Kathy Beale but she also stars in Hollyoaks as Sandy Roscoe.
She was last seen on screen in 2000, however she did did appear in the Children In Need EastEnders special in which Kathy Beale’s ghost came back to haunt Ian.
Gillian was first arrested for drink-driving in 1995.
