Jurgen Klopp’s shadow is already hanging heavy over Brendan Rodgers after Liverpool’s fixtures for the 2015/16 Premier League season were revealed.
The German manager is out of work at the moment having left Borussia Dortmund, and although he’s understood to be on a sabbatical from football, reports have said he’d take the Liverpool job if it became available.
And it looks like Rodgers will have his work cut-out to remain in the Anfield hotseat given Liverpool’s opening run of fixtures.
It’s the away ones that really look like they could trip the Northern Irishman up, as their first seven away from Anfield are as follows:
Stoke (a), Arsenal (a), Man United (a), Everton (a), Tottenham (a), Chelsea (a) Man City (a)
Add in home matches against bogey team Aston Villa and a potentially resurgent West Ham, and you’ve got a pretty tough run in on your hands…
It’s pretty clear what the fans think:
Rodgers and those away fixtures. #klopp

Pack your bags for October, Klopp. You’re going to LFC.

Klopp will be made up with that end to the season.

At least when Klopp takes over in October he’ll have an easy run of games

Good luck, Brendan…
