Michelle Connor has been taken hostage in Coronation Street at the hands of her sinister stalker – and with her life in danger, Robert Preston now faces a race against time to save her life. But who is behind the attack as Rich continues to insist that he is innocent, complete with full alibi?
There are already plenty of theories doing the rounds and scenes which have seen Michelle tied up and left in the boot of a car have left viewers worried about how far her tormentor is prepared to go.
So far, threatening messages, muggings and molotiv cocktail attacks have left Michelle and Robert on edge and they have been so sure that Rich is to blame but as Rich continues to deny it, viewers are now sure that someone else is to blame and is using Rich as cover.
With Michelle missing, Robert leaps into action and beats Rich up but even after a bashing (which gets Robert arrested for ABH) he isn’t going to confess to something that he didn’t do.
So just who is targeting Michelle and what has she done to upset them?
Her nightmare is only just beginning…
