Where would we be without This Morning, the day time TV programme that’s become a national treasure?
Covering everything from fashion to food and politics with a little bit of sex thrown in, it has stood the test of time thanks to its loyal fan base.
Hosted by Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, This Morning has seen some more weird and wonderful moments in 2018, the year which saw the show mark its 30th anniversary.
Let’s take a look back at some of the best moments from This Morning.
When a Kim Jong Un impersonator visited the studio

The impersonator, Howard X, entered the studio on a red carpet followed by two ‘bodyguards’.
Howard proved to be troublesome when he used an explicit word live on air when describing his luck with women.
When Gino D’Acampo had a go at Rochelle Humes for eating bolognese with salad cream
Gino is very passionate when it comes to his food, so he got a bit stressed when Rochelle revealed her take on bolognese.
The chef stormed away from the set and began ranting in Italian.
‘This is what is wrong with this country,’ he fumed, ‘I don’t adapt anything. I stick with the plan.’
When Phillip Schofield and Fern Britton beefed over This Morning’s BAFTA

Phil and Fern were locked in a Twitter spat in October when This Morning received a Bafta to mark their 30th anniversary.
Fern insisted she was invited, but it later turned out that her management company had declined on her behalf as she was on tour.
In the episode that followed, the show celebrated the wedding of two viewers with Phillip saying on air: ‘All the invitations were sent out, hopefully everybody got one and they knew they got it.’
A thinly-veiled dig at his former co-host? The jury’s out.
When a woman claimed she’d had sex with a ghost on a plane

Amethyst Realm became a familiar face on This Morning for her romantic trysts with ghosts.
In August the Brit claimed she had sex with a ghost in an airplane cubicle when he ‘surprised’ her during her cross-Atlantic flight to the UK.
‘Why did you need to go into the loo to do that?’ host Ruth Langsford quizzed.
‘If nobody can see that presence there.’ ‘I don’t know…you wouldn’t be able to get into it on the seats, I guess,’ Amethyst responded.
When a football fan got a tattoo declaring England as the World Cup winners, despite them not actually winning it

Jamie Richardson appeared on the show in July to talk about men going topless in hot weather, but the attention was on his inking which read ‘England 2018 World Cup Winners’.
Jamie said: ‘I did it. I’m English I’m proud, I had the best two weeks and we were 20 minutes away from the World Cup final.’ That’s definitely the best attitude.
When a masseuse bit Eamonn Holmes

Dr Dot, who has been using the bite massage treatment on celebs like Kanye West and Katy Perry, demonstrated her technique on Eamonn Holmes by chomping on his hand…then his neck.
She explained: ‘It tenderises the person before I actually start using my hands. So they get 20 minutes of bite massage and the rest I do with my hands.’
‘I remember when I met Ruth and she used to be like that,’ Eamonn joked. ‘That sort of all faded.’

When a swimsuit with Prince Harry’s face on it had a major design flaw
Two models appeared on the show in May to show off some swimsuits with HRH Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle’s faces printed on them.
Host Phillip Schofield was left awkwardly giggling as the swimsuit with Harry’s face on was awkwardly placed, as his stubbly red facial hair could unfortunately be easily mistaken for pubic hair.
But, if anyone was left in doubt, Phil made it pretty obvious by shouting: ‘I can’t look at the Harry one!’
When Phillip Schofield interviewed a ghost
Amethyst Realm returned for a Halloween-themed episode in October to reveal that she was engaged to a ghost called Ray.
When she mentioned he was sat beside her on the sofa, Phillip took the chance to have a word with him and it resulted in the most bizarre bit of telly this year.
The camera panning over to the empty space beside Amethyst in silence just makes this clip.
When Vanessa Feltz revealed she had her first kiss with Pete Tong
This was a curveball.
Vanessa revealed an interesting detail about her first kiss during a segment about whether it was possible to fall in love in Magaluf.
Chatting to her partner Ben Ofoedu about their memories of Majorca, Ben said he remembered playing shows there when his single Turn Around with Phats & Small blew up.
He then said: ‘You had your first kiss here, didn’t you?’
Vanessa replied: ‘I did have my first kiss here. I was only ten years old, and years later I realised that that Peter Tong who I was kissing – was kissing me – was actually the Pete Tong.’
When Charlotte Crosby was taught how to clean a toilet
Geordie Shore’s Charlotte Crosby learnt new methods of cleaning her bathroom and toilet utensils – while revealing the three main things she uses the bog for.
The 28-year-old let the cameras of This Morning into her home so that she could learn some new things about keeping a sparkly abode as she confessed that she uses the room to ‘pee, poo and puke.’
Charlotte defended herself saying: ‘Well if you are sick, that’s where you’ll be sick’.
And when Alison Hammond pushed a guy into the water while giving the weather report
Alison Hammond reminded us of the perils of live TV when this moment happened on This Morning in October.
As Alison attempted to give the weather report she initially came a cropper when her clothes got caught on a sparkly Welsh dragon.
But just moments later things got exponentially worse when she accidentally pushed an innocent bystander – who was wearing white – into the dock. TV gold.
