Rapper Iggy Azalea has reportedly welcomed a child with her partner Playboi Carti.
The 29-year-old star is believed to have given birth to a baby boy over the weekend, although Iggy is yet to confirm or verify this.
If she has given birth, the baby will be the Australian star’s first child. But who is her partner, Playboi Carti?
Who is Playboi Carti?
Playboi Carti (real name Jordan Terrell Carter) is a 23 year old US rapper from Atlanta, Georgia.
In 2017, Carti told Hot 97, that he had been doing music ‘all his life’ but didn’t get serious about rapping as a career until his senior year of high school.
His first studio album, named Die Lit, was released on May 11, 2018.

Carti’s music, described as ‘mumble rap’, is influenced by rappers such as Gucci Mane, Young Thug, A$AP Rocky, Lil Uzi Vert, Chief Keef, Yung Lean, and Lil Wayne.
The soft-spoken singer and songwriter is known for keeping things on the down-low, rarely doing interviews and infrequently posting on social media.
He described the success he has enjoyed in his career so far as a ‘blessing’ in an interview last year.
Iggy Azalea and Playboi Carti’s relationship
Iggy and Carti first began dating back in 2018 and despite a somewhat ‘on and off’ relationship, the pair are said to be now living together in Atlanta.
The couple prefer to keep things private about their relationship, but have occasionally spoken out on social media to address rumours – or at times, start them.

Back in July 2019, the pair sparked engagement rumours after Iggy shared a video on her Instagram story showing a giant bejewelled ring on her wedding finger without any context.
The engagement rumour flames were further fanned in November last year when the couple’s home in Atlanta was burgled and over $350,000 (£285,259) worth of jewellery was stolen – including watches, chains, earrings and, according to TMZ, a diamond engagement ring.
Fans were convinced that the rappers were engaged, but neither Iggy or Carti confirmed the news.

Then, at the end of 2019, the two appeared to split with Iggy taking to Instagram once again to update her story, simply saying: ‘I’m single.’
However, she later apologised to fans for telling them that she and Carti had broken up, stating: ‘I need to make an apology. ‘It’s not my character to put out whatever business I go through in my private life on the internet for the world to comment on.
