Pierce Brosnan is all for a third Mamma Mia! movie and he wants to be in it.
Fans have been getting super exited over news a Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again sequel could be on the way, after the movie’s creator teased the film is supposed to be a trilogy.
So far, we’ve had two films and Pierce has thrown his hat into the ring for a third, giving his seal of approval for a third movie to go ahead.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain with host Lorraine Kelly, Pierce, who has been isolating in Hawaii during lockdown, said he thinks another Mamma Mia! feature can only be a ‘good’ thing.
‘I think they could [do it], I think it would be good,’ he teased. ‘It could really bring something to the audience that is fresh and new.’
Revealing he’d definitely get involved, Pierce added: ‘I would certainly throw my hat into the ring. I think think they could get away with it!’

Pierce, who features in new Netflix movie Eurovision, plays Sam Carmichael in the Mamma Mia! movies, who is Sophie’s possible dad and Donna’s husband.
He teased that plenty of the other cast would too be up for reprising their roles for another ABBA-inspired hurrah and his confirmation comes after Judy Craymer – who wrote the original Mamma Mia! musical – hinted at a third film.
Speaking to Daily Mail during lockdown, Craymer teased : ‘I was meant to have been getting on with that [writing the third film’, in my head, during these months, but then I got hit with Covid fog.

‘I think one day there will be another film, because there’s meant to be a trilogy, you see.’
And if that wasn’t reason enough to get excited, Craymer suggested that she’s already had the backing of Universal Studios.
‘I know Universal would like me to do it,’ she revealed.
