Things continue to heat up in the land of soap next week, with a week that promises to change the very landscape of each respective serial drama!
There is horror aplenty in Coronation Street, as Scott Emberton (Tom Roberts) enacts his burglary plan at the bistro, but several residents ends up in danger, with Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) in the firing line of the thief’s gun.
What’s more, Jenny Connor’s (Sally Ann Matthews) life is put in danger also, as sinister Scott takes her hostage when things go awry!
Meanwhile, Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami) finds himself on the wrong side of Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton) in EastEnders, which results in Ruby devising a plan to run the Slaters out of Walford with assistance from Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal).
Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) fears for the future of her relationship with Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) in Emmerdale, and she’s ultimately unable to resist temptation, as she kisses a mystery man!
The events of the 25th anniversary week continue to have something of a ripple effect in Hollyoaks, but the focus soon shifts when one resident is left for dead following a horror car crash!
Again, it’s a week that could very much change everything in the four big soaps, and if you fancy a sneak-peek at what’s to come, be sure to check out our guide below.
EastEnders

Kush steals money from Ruby, but she soon comes to learn the truth, and informs him to return the money he stole and she’ll forget it ever happened. However, Kush denies it leaving Ruby furious. She goes straight to Kat, Stacey and Jean, and accuses him of having a gambling addiction.

Ruby visits Suki and proposes a plan to run the Slaters out of Walford. Suki appears interested, and suggests a poker game with Vinny and Kheerat. Kush declines the offer, but he later arrives, and joins the game — as does Martin.

Shirley attempts to talk to Mick at The Vic, but Mick snaps at her — informing her she was never there when he needed her. Therefore, Shirley — hurt by his words — yells at him to stop ‘playing the victim.’
Coronation Street

Johnny refuses to take part in the robbery when Scott reveals he’s got a gun, and he suffers a severe MS attack. He tells Scott he desperately needs his meds but Scott smashes his phone and knocks Johnny unconscious. Ray’s poker game is in full swing when a masked Scott bursts into the bistro and — pointing his gun at Faye — orders everyone to do as he says.

Johnny reports Scott and Craig hears the call. Fearing for Faye’s safety, the young policeman enters the bistro, and —as Scott makes a dash for the door—Craig attacks him with a chair. However, the gun soon goes off and Craig slumps to the floor!

Geoff winds Alya up and reveals he’s got no intention of selling the house. Alya quizzes him about the unpaid loans against Yasmeen’s name, but blames Yasmeen. In a bid to find out what Geoff has done with the money, Alya and Ryan resolve to follow Geoff and see what he’s up to.
Emmerdale

As Charity fears for her relationship with Vanessa, her vehicle is hit by another car. She argues with the driver, and soon comes to realises all is not as it seems. Animosity ensues, but as he offers her £500, she warms to his charm and accepts his offer. They continue to flirt — the chemistry apparent — before ultimately kissing him.

Amelia offers to help with work, as he’s clearly not fit to do so. However, as sheopens a car bonnet, the prop slips. As she fits a battery, the bonnet snaps shut and Amelia falls — lying on the ground, evidently in pain. Dan attempts to spring to action, but his back spasms and he falls on the ground. Amelia tries to help her dad but collapses.

Gabby tempts Meena into making a move on Liam, and when Meena mentions the flowers she allegedly received from Liam — Gabby’s handiwork, no doubt — Leyla is horrified. Liam desperately tries to prove his innocence, but Leyla declares their relationship over.
Hollyoaks

Brody attempts to retrieve Sophie and Sebastian’s passports, while Sienna encourages Liberty to make a go of things with Damon so that her sister won’t be without support when she makes her getaway. Liberty later discovers that Sienna and Brody have ran away with the baby, and she’s horrified and decides to call the police.

Kurt has something of business proposition for The Hutch, and Mandy wants Darren to take a chance. However, it’s not just business that Kurt’s got on his mind, as he seemingly hits it off with Verity — something which Sami Maalikisn’t too pleased about!

A series of flash-forward scenes are included in upcoming episodes, the first of which reveals a broken headlight on a car. Towards the end of Thursday’s episode (October 22), one resident’s lifeless body is seen lying on the road in front of the vehicle!
EastEnders airs Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday on BBC One. Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday on ITV, while Emmerdale airs Monday-Friday. Hollyoaks airs Monday-Thursday on E4.
