Arsenal are in dialogue with super agent Jorge Mendes over a move for Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves, according to reports.
The Portugal international is a target for Mikel Arteta, who is looking to replace the likes of Martin Odegaard, Dani Ceballos and Granit Xhaka in his midfield.
Neves, 24, joined Wolves in 2017 when the club were in the Championship and he arrived having previously captained Porto in the Champions League.
Arteta believes the Portuguese ace could provide the type of stability in Arsenal’s midfield that is missing behind Thomas Partey and Wolves are said to be resigned to losing the former Porto ace.
