John Paul McQueen’s (James Sutton) anger and frustration gets the better of him in Hollyoaks, as he lashes out and violently assaults Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) in upcoming scenes!
The teacher faces some tough questions from Ste, who approaches him to ask if there’s anything going on between he and James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan).
In scenes this week, Ste fast-tracks his plans for CCTV around the house, and Fergus Collins (Robert Beck) complies with his request, sending Timmy (Sam Tutty) round to sort.
Afterwards, Ste and Timmy watch the footage back, and they see James and John Paul agreeing to keep their lips sealed about what happened between them!
In the aftermath, Ste is convinced that something transpired between James and John Paul, and therefore he confronts James on the matter.
Not satisfied with James’ response, he sets out to locate John Paul instead, and he finds him violently drunk.
Ste demands answers, but John Paul is not happy, and therefore he loses it, punching Ste in shocking scenes!
James later discovers that Ste has a black eye, and once he realises that John Paul is responsible, he’s horrified, wasting little time in confronting him about the assault.
John Paul’s anger bubbles once again, prompting James to share his own experience between he and his dad Mac (David Easter), as he advises his ex to seek professional help.
