Phil Mitchell’s (Steve McFadden) quest to protect Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) in EastEnders leads him to the Argee Bhajee, where he could be set to make a very disturbing discovery.
Tommy, as viewers know, is being bullied by a group of his classmates, who have repeatedly picked on and abused him.
He opened up about the ordeal to Phil, who vowed to protect him, much to the dismay of Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace), who reckoned that he should be giving her kids a wide berth in the wake of their split.
Phil, however, remains hellbent on protecting Tommy, especially after the lad was assaulted once more in the Square.
Kat, in the wake of her son’s latest attack, came to realise how much she appreciates Phil’s support, and ultimately got down on one knee to propose.
The couple are now engaged, which left them both on cloud nine.
Tommy, however, is scared of what his tormentors have in store for him next, and Friday’s (February 25) edition of the BBC One soap sees the lad refuse to go to school.

Phil suggests that he take care of him for the day, and thus brings him to the gym, where he pushes him hard.
Tommy buckles under the pressure, running off.
When he crosses paths with the bullies again, he proceeds to show off, claiming Phil has taught him to box. But the tormentors persist and subsequently give chase, resulting in Tommy legging it.
Phil finds out about his soon-to-be-stepson’s ordeal and swiftly swoops into action, making his way to the Argee Bhajee, where the bullies have Tommy cornered.
Pictures reveal the hard-man lashing out with a metal pipe, repeatedly whacking it against the floorboards in a bid to scare them away.

One of the images, however, reveals that Phil’s violence causes in a tear in the floor below, and something from beneath the surface seemingly piques his interest.
Has Phil spotted Tina Carter’s (Luisa Bradshaw-White) body?
Tina has been missing for over a year, after she vanished in the wake of being implicated in the attack on Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt).
Viewers know that she was killed by abuser and serial murderer Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith), who subsequently disposed of her body.

For months, fans had no idea what the killer had done to conceal her corpse, but it was confirmed in January of this year that Tina was buried beneath the floorboards of the Argee Bhajee.
A gas explosion at the premises left Gray concerned that his murderous secret would be exposed, especially after work was due to commence on the building, but yet again he managed to evade justice when the project fell through.
But is his time finally up?
Will Phil’s mission to protect Tommy ultimately prove to be the catalyst in Tina’s body being discovered?

It’s likely, given that scenes next week will see DCI Arthurs arrive at The Queen Vic to relay the tragic news that Tina is dead, confirming that her body has, in fact, been found.
What’s more, the following week will see Gray finally get his comeuppance.
EastEnders airs these scenes on Friday February 25 at 8:30pm on BBC One.
