With Max Turner (Paddy Bever) now behind bars waiting for his sentencing in Coronation Street, a downbeat David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) is feeling lonely and isolated.
Max pleaded guilty during his hearing a few weeks ago after his involvement in Griff’s (Michael Condron) gang, the bomb in the Speed Daal van and Alya (Sair Khan) getting stabbed by Blake (Adam Little), who said he only committed the crime after watching Max’s propaganda videos online.
Behind bars and convinced he now must face consequences for his actions, Max is found by an STC officer called June next week, who later updates David and tells him that his son has been attacked.
As the day progresses, Maria (Samia Longchambon) finds David drunk and alone in Victoria Garden.
Maria is sympathetic as David talks, but he then leans in for a kiss, prompting his friend to tell him to go home.
