Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell) confides in Noah Dingle (Jack Downham) in Emmerdale next week, revealing that she’s worried Esther will be left with Samson (Sam Hall) if anything happens to her.
The teen, who is determined to support baby girl Esther in every way she can, finds a lump on her breast in upcoming scenes, with Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) subsequently referring her to the breast clinic.
Devastated, Amelia breaks down in tears, with Noah opting not to approach, given that she had urged him to stay away following their split.
But a change-of-heart is on the horizon, with scenes next week set to see Amelia confide in Noah about what she’s going through, with Noah proving supportive as he attempts to reassure her that her lump probably isn’t cancerous.
Amelia, however, struggles to shake her fears, opening up about how she worries Esther will be left with Samson if anything happens to her.
Samson, as viewers know, is Esther’s father.
The teen, however, has had no interest in his daughter, and even used her as a bargaining chip, blackmailing Noah to hand over his trust fund money in exchange for him staying away.

The truth came out last month, with Samson facing the wrath of his loved ones in the aftermath, while Amelia dumped Noah, who has made it clear that he was just doing what he thought was best.
Lydia (Karen Blick), meanwhile, picks up on the tension and quizzes Noah, who ultimately divulges the truth about Amelia’s lump, while also filling her in on how Samson treated her when he made the discovery.
Devastated, Lydia confronts Samson, giving him both barrels over how he’s dealt with the situation. Sam (James Hooton), however, is sympathetic, knowing Amelia’s news has triggered feelings for Samson about the loss of his own mother, Alice, who died of cancer in 2006.

Samson subsequently opens up, admitting that he worries for Esther but reiterates that he still can’t be her dad, leaving Sam determined to support his son.
Noah, meanwhile, is delighted when Amelia admits that she’s missed him and would like to get back together. The happy couple kiss but, the next day, they’re confronted by Samson, who is determined to say sorry for how he’s behaved.
