The Coronation of King Charles III was a day that will surely go down in history.
Sure, London was rainy, but the Westminster Abbey ceremony and processions in the Diamond Jubilee State Coach and Gold State Coach seemingly went off without a hitch.
The Royal Family also watched the Red Arrows flypast travel over Buckingham Palace from its balcony – and the newly-crowned King and Queen waved to the crowds filling The Mall.
A topic of much interest was who exactly would join Charles and Camilla for the post-coronation moment on the balcony.
So, who joined them at the Palace for the occasion?
Who was on the Buckingham Palace balcony at the coronation?
King Charles III and Queen Camilla
It was their coronation, so of course the monarch King Charles III, 74, and his consort, Queen Camilla, 75 – both wearing crowns – appeared on the balcony.

They joined the Royal Family and other guests for the flypast, and appeared solo for a final wave to well-wishers.
The King and Queen’s Pages of Honour
The King and Queen each had four Pages of Honour assist them in carrying the lengthy coronation robes throughout the ceremony.

Prince George – The King’s nine-year-old grandson – was among them.
As were The Queen’s grandchildren Freddy Parker-Bowles, Louis Lopes, and Gus Lopes, all 13, and great-nephew Arthur Elliot.
King Charles was also accompanied by youngster Ralph Tollemache, who is the son of his godson Edward Tollemache.
Nicholas Barclay, who is the grandson of the Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire, Sarah Troughton, was among the pages.
Lord Oliver Cholmondeley was also a page. He is the son of David, the Marquess of Cholmondeley (one of The King’s Lords-in-Waiting) and Rose, the Marchioness of Cholmondeley. They are long-time friends of the royals.
Queen Camilla’s ladies-in-attendance
On coronation day, many were struck by The Queen’s ladies-in-attendance and the striking resemblance they shared.

The two women were her younger sister, Annabel Elliot, 74, and long-time friend Fiona, the Marchioness of Lansdowne, 68.
They appeared on the balcony for the flypast, and may often be spotted near The Queen, as they are officially named as Queen’s Companions.
The Prince and Princess of Wales
Unsurprisingly, Prince William, The Prince of Wales, 40, and his wife Catherine, The Princess of Wales, 41, appeared on the balcony.

The Prince of Wales had previously played a role in the coronation ceremony as heir to the throne – reading aloud a statement of loyalty to his dad, touching his crown and kissing his cheek.
