The following article contains spoilers for Wednesday’s (July 5) EastEnders, which has NOT yet aired on TV, but can now be viewed on BBC iPlayer.
EastEnders viewers have spent weeks wondering who Stacey Slater’s (Lacey Turner) secret online video caller is, and tonight his identity is finally revealed.
After struggling to make ends meet under the cost of living crisis, Stacey decided to make a Secret Cam account in order to sell photos of herself online and earn enough money to put food on the table.
The idea stemmed from Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier), who had been making large sums of money by selling photos of his feet.
When a buyer offered double their usual amount to see her face, Stacey took the offer, but was horrified when her images were leaked around daughter Lily’s (Lillia Turner) school.
Lily was already facing bullying after falling pregnant at 12-years-old, and begged her mum to terminate her account.
Stacey agreed, but was left with concerns over how she would afford to feed her kids without the extra income.
However, her secret buyer had offered to pay for private video calls. Unable to see any other option, Stacey agreed to delete her main account and offer private calls to the buyer.

In tonight’s episode, the secret buyer is finally revealed to be none other than creepy teacher Theo Hawthorne (William Ellis).
Theo was first introduced several months ago when Freddie confronted him outside his old school for the way he treated him as a student.
Since then, Theo has grown close to the Slater family, offering to tutor Lily while she takes time off school for her pregnancy.

Though Martin Fowler (James Bye) has his suspicions over Theo’s intentions, having offered his services for free, the rest of the Slaters have no idea what he is really up to.
At the end of the episode, Theo can be seen looking up to Stacey’s bedroom from the Square, while watching her live stream from his phone.
