Coronation Street spoilers: Sex scandal revealed for lustful Cassie and Kevin

Abi (Sally Carman) and Kevin Webster’s (Michael Le Vell) marriage could be about to hit the rocks in Coronation Street.

Recently, Abi has been on hand to support Tyrone (Alan Halsall) with Cassie (Claire Sweeney). The newcomer is a recovering drug addict and recently ended up in hospital after relapsing. Due to her actions, Tyrone told Cassie that she should go and stay at the precinct flat for a few days.

When she got there, Abi arrived and revealed that Tyrone had sent her and that she wanted to help. Being a recovering addict herself, Abi knows exactly what Cassie is going through and has been there to support her during intense withdrawal symptoms and attending support groups.

Coming up, Cassie is annoyed after being told to keep quiet at the meeting with the taxi firm and to let Kev, Ty and Abi do the talking.

However, they are all distracted when a police officer arrives and tells Tyrone they have a reason to believe his car was involved in a hit and run and they need to examine it.

Later in the week, Ty pops into the café and asks Cassie where she was on September 11 – the same day as the hit and run.

Cassie denies she had anything to do with it, but it’s clear that Evelyn (Maureen Lipman) doesn’t believe her.

That afternoon, Kevin finds Cassie drunk in Victoria Garden. Pointing out that she can’t go home in her current state, Kevin offers her the couch at Number 13.

It appears the kind gesture from Kevin is enough for Cassie to develop feelings for him, as she’s seen watching him fondly while he makes a cup of tea the next day.

But does this have disaster written all over it?
