Coronation Street pictures confirm one of the ITV soap’s biggest weeks of the year, with a wedding featuring a big twist on the cards, plus the beginning of the end for cobbles killer Stephen Reid.
The wedding we’re referring to is of course that of Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) and Paul Foreman (Peter Ash), which proves to be quite the eventful occasion!
The guests are all seated at the bistro as Paul is walked down the aisle by Bernie Winter (Jane Hazelgrove) and Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) as Billy waits for him at the top, heart full of love for his fiancé.
The pair exchange vows and the registrar pronounces them married. After the ceremony, however, Billy finds our that Paul has been keeping a secret from him.
We’re keeping tight-lipped on what exactly such a secret is, so you’ll just have to tune into the show next week to find out.
But wait, there’s more!
Sorry, this video isn't available any more.
Stephen’s (Todd Boyce) time is finally starting to run out. The killer kicks off the week attempting to pressure Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) into moving to Thailand, but she won’t budge.
That is, until she realises how serious he is about them relocating, with subsequent scenes seeing her relay her decision to leave the cobbles to Rita Tanner (Barbara Knox), much to Stephen’s delight.

Coronation Street airs these scenes between Monday, October 2 and Friday, October 6 at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
