Jordan North weighed in on Big Brother’s highly anticipated revival and shared what he felt would be the biggest challenge faced by the contestants.
The 33-year-old BBC Radio 1 presenter revealed his excitement at the reality show’s return but warned this year’s saga could have one vital difference from previous seasons.
Under constant surveillance, the programme follows a group of strangers as they attempt to live with one another in a house, totally isolated from the outside world.
The famed concept announced it would be returning after five years – this time on ITV after it was axed by Channel 5 – under the helm of hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best.
Chatting exclusively to Metro.co.uk on the Pride of Britain red carpet, Jordan spilt on why he was ecstatic about its second coming.

He said: ‘I can’t wait for it, it’s going to be good. AJ and Will are going to be really good presenters and I’m a guest on the spin-off show tomorrow so I’m going to have to go home tonight and watch it.

‘But I can’t wait to watch it, it was a big part of British culture for 20 odd years.’
Amid his positive attitude towards the return of the Big Brother house, the former I’m A Celebrity star explained his concerns for the new contestants and warned that social media’s boom could be harmful to them.
The presenter shared: ‘I don’t think it’ll be censored. I just hope when it comes out – because when it was popular there wasn’t social media as there is today – I just hope that people are kind on social media.
‘Don’t forget, if you don’t like someone that’s fair enough but these people have got feelings at the end of the day, so you just hope they don’t get it too bad on social media.
‘But I’m looking forward to seeing it, it should be good!’

Elsewhere, outside Mayfair’s glamorous Grosvenor House, Love Island finalists Molly Marsh and Zachariah Noble offered some insight into what the budding reality stars could expect from their upcoming stay in the house.
Cracking a smile, Zach candidly said: ‘Enjoy being bored, it’s very boring doing these things but have a good time, enjoy it, you’re not going to do it forever – it’s a once in a lifetime thing.’
His girlfriend Molly chimed in with: ‘It’s over like that really, don’t wish it away!’
The Pride of Britain red carpet attracted hoards of glamorously dressed celebs – from both the TV and music industry – as they celebrated the achievements of remarkable people.
One such famous face – singer, Calum Scott – had his say on society’s current antics and shared his thoughts on the future of the music industry.
The 34-year-old Dancing On My Own hitmaker revealed his hesitations towards a potential AI takeover.
He explained: ‘It’s exciting, it’s a little bit scary. My mind always goes back to I, Robot with Will Smith and that didn’t end great!
‘You think of the benefits of AI and what it can help with and it’s amazing but it also does replace people in some ways and that’s upsetting and sad.
‘As long as we can keep having human interaction and keep from robots taking over the world I guess I’m alright with it – no I, Robot please!’
Next to comment on how their world was changing, James Arthur, 35, expressed his feelings on the music scene’s approach to artists’ mental health.
Amid the release of his latest single Just Us, the star said: ‘It’s been nice to see certain public figures getting support for mental health and realising that it takes a lot to get out there and perform.
‘Anyone that puts themselves out there to be judged and scrutinized on a large scale deserves to be treated with respect and to be treated like a human and it feels like it’s shifting that way.’
Dressed in royal blue, chart-topper Emelie Sandé, 36, revealed how she was adapting her life to suit an ever-evolving marketplace.

‘You have to approach it a bit more laid back. Now everyone can introduce and upload music whenever they want – I think that’s a beautiful thing,’ she began.
The Clown singer continued: ‘You can move faster and can move more in real time so I think now I just feel a lot more relaxed than I used to and for me that’s a great thing.
‘It makes me feel a lot more relaxed on stage and I feel a lot more myself so I think I can be quicker than I used to be in releasing music.’
