Senior royals have been putting on a united front over the last few days despite being embroiled in a race row.
Prince William was seen joining Big Issue seller Dave Martin for the second year in a row at his pitch in Hammersmith, west London.
The Prince of Wales, pictured wearing a Big Issue tabard and matching baseball cap, posted on social media: ‘Great to be back with Dave, selling the latest edition of the Big Issue once again!’
The pair have stayed in contact since meeting last year, and the future king helped Dave with sales and they exchanged Christmas cards yesterday.
Dave said: ‘It was very nice to see Prince William again. It was surreal but he was so friendly. He was concerned about me and about the homeless people.
‘There were good vibes from everyone – it’s been a great day.’

The King, Queen, Prince and Princess of Wales also hosted a dazzling reception last night in another show of unity.
Ambassadors, high commissioners and other diplomats were invited to Buckingham Palace for a white-tie event in the lead-up to Christmas.
The royal women traditionally wear tiaras for the occasion, and Queen Camilla was seen paying a touching tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II.
She wore the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara, which was a wedding gift from her grandmother Queen Mary and was worn by the late Queen in her accession photographs.
Camilla also wore a diamond brooch which belonged to the late Queen Mother, and a diamond bracelet which belonged to the late Queen.

Kate wore the Lover’s Knot Tiara, which is a diamond and pearl-encrusted headpiece made in 1914 and was often worn by Diana, Princess of Wales.
It was given to Diana by the late Queen as a wedding gift in 1981.

Kate also wore a glittering pale pink dress by Jenny Packham, paired with the Royal Family Order and Greville diamond chandelier earrings.
Camilla wore a cream embroidered evening gown by Fiona Clare with a Garter sash and star, in family order.
The gathering, which sees more than 500 members of the Diplomatic Corps hosted in the palace’s state rooms, was the first time senior members of the monarchy had been seen together since the start of a royal race row last week.
The release of Omid Scobie’s new book Endgame sparked controversy after a Dutch version suggested Kate and Charles were the alleged royals who made remarks about Prince Archie’s skin colour.
