Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths) goes head to head with his brother Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor) in upcoming Coronation Street episodes, putting his chance at a happy and normal life in Weatherfield at risk.
On New Year’s Day, after spending time with Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) in the pub, Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) says goodbye to her outside but neither spot Damon watching them from across the street.
As Adam heads for his office, it isn’t long until we see him tied up in the back of a van, with Damon clearly ready to get revenge after the solicitor threatened him the last time he was on the cobbles.

As 2024 gets underway, Damon is seen developing a partnership with Ed Bailey (Trevor Michael Georges).
He hands the builder some cash to buy supplies for their new bar renovation, but remains unaware of the temptation he’s placing in Ed’s path.
Later in the week, when Damon finally answers Harvey’s non-stop phone calls, he threatens to kill his brother in a state of anger.

Unfortunately for him, Damon ends up kicking himself when he realises Sarah – the person he had an affair with a few months ago – has overheard.
