Ever since the TV adaptation of One Day launched on Netflix, viewers have been reduced to buckets of tears over the performances of leads Leo Woodall and Ambika Mod.
Playing the protagonists Dexter and Emma respectively, audiences follow the characters as their relationship spans across 20 years.
Following the release of the drama based on the book of the same name, fans were intrigued to discover who The White Lotus star Leo’s famous dad is – the actor Andrew Woodall, who starred in Solo: A Star Wars Story.
However, he’s not the only member of the One Day cast who has a famous connection in their family, as Eleanor Tomlinson, who plays Sylvie, also has a well-known father.

What else has Eleanor Tomlinson starred in?
One of Eleanor’s earliest roles was in The Illusionist with Edward Norton, Paul Giamatti and Rufus Sewell, before she appeared in hit teen comedy Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging in 2008.
She went on to star in films including Alice in Wonderland, Jack the Giant Slayer, Colette and Love Wedding Repeat.
On TV, the 31-year-old was cast as Demelza in Poldark, opposite Aidan Turner as the titular character, Captain Ross Poldark.
She went on to appear in The War of the Worlds, The Nevers, Intergalactic, The Outlaws and the Couple Next Door.
Who is Eleanor Tomlinson’s famous dad?
Eleanor was born in London in 1992, the daughter of singer Judith Hibbert and actor Malcolm Tomlinson.
Malcolm has appeared in a variety of TV programmes, including Henry VIII and His Six Wives, Elizabeth I, Peaky Blinders, Doctors, Casualty, Emmerdale and Coronation Street.
As well as acting, Malcolm is also a horse racing commentator, lending his talents to Racing TV and Sky Sports Racing, ITV Racing and BBC Radio 5Live.
Does Eleanor have any more famous relatives?
Eleanor’s brother Ross Tomlinson is also an actor.
He played the role of PJ in two episodes of This Is Going To Hurt, which coincidentally also starred One Day’s Ambika.
