Looking for a cheap getaway? Travelodge has launched a massive sale for bargain hunters wanting a budget deal on a UK staycation this spring.
With over 580 hotels across the UK, holidaymakers can now save money by booking one of the holiday chain’s rooms which are on offer for £35 or less, plus some incredible value rooms in top UK locations for holidays without the plane journey.
And with deals available until June 20, 2024, there’s lots of time to take advantage in advance of the Easter and May half term school holidays.
One of the best and easiest ways to find the deals is to use the brand’s Price Finder Tool. All you have to do is enter your desired holiday dates, budget and destination and you can find the cheapest room.

You’ll be given more options depending on how flexible you are with the price, for example, if you are willing to travel between Sunday and Thursday. You can still find empty rooms on Friday and Saturday nights that are under £35, but be warned, they get booked very quickly.

To make things easier for you, we’ve made a list of the rooms priced around £35 across the country during the Easter holiday and May half term in the top UK staycation destinations.
When are the Easter and May half term holidays?
Easter holiday 2024: Friday March 29 to Friday April 12
May half term 2024: Monday May 27 to Friday May 31
Lake District National Park

Tourists from all over the world visit the Lake District for its spectacular scenary, wildlife and culture.
Aira Force Waterfall, Castlerigg Stone Circle and the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction, a museum about the children’s author, are among the top rated activities and sites in the Lake District on Tripadvisor.
If the area is on your list, the Travelodge in Barrow-in-Furness can be booked in the half term week for £25, Burton M6 Northbound is available for £25 and Cockermouth £33.
Cornwall

Visitors can book a room for £34 in Bodmin for £32 during the first week of the Easter Holidays. Bodmin is one of Cornwall’s oldest towns where visitors can find St Petroc’s Church and the Bodmin and Wenford Steam Railway.
Nature fanatics of all ages should embark on a journey to Roughtor to see the breaktaking rolling hills and rock monuments, all while breathing in the fresh air.
During the two-week Easter holidays, we found a room at Travelodge Bodmin Roche for £32 and Saltash for £28.
Norfolk

There are three seaside resorts in Norfolk which should offer lots of family excitement and (hopefully) good weather.
In Great Yarmouth there’s the Golden Mile and Pleasure Beach, plus Cromer and Hunstanton.
If you’re looking for somewhere to stay after a day of exploring Norfolk’s nine miles of unspoilt coast, in the May half term you can book a Travelodge room in Great Yarmouth £33. There are also some that are slightly pricier; £41 in Norwich Central and £45 at the Norwich Central Riverside Travelodge hotel.
Devon

Although it is known for its famous beaches, some of Devon’s top family attractions also includes the likes of Okehampton Castle, the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth and the fascinating Kent Cavern Prehistoric Caves in Torquay.
In the Easter holidays, visitors can book a room at Okehampton Sourton Cross and Okehampton Whiddon Down £33 respectively, the hotel in Plymouth for £36, Tiverton for £32 and Torquay £35.
London

Yes, London is also part of the deal. From Big Ben to the London Eye and Tower Bridge, the list of sights to see in the capital is endless.
For families looking for a fun day out, the Chessington Tolworth Travelodge, which is a 15-minute drive away from Chessington World of Adventures, can be booked for £35 during the Easter holiday.
More Trending
Although slightly further away – a 25-minute drive or an hour on public transport – the Wimbledon Morden Travelodge is also part of the deal for the same price.
Manchester

You don’t have to catch a flight abroad for an exciting city break this spring. The city is home to the National Football Museum, which is one of the top attractions in Manchester on Tripadvisor. There’s also a Chinatown and the Printworks convention centre.
All of the major sites, including the Arndale Shopping Centre, are all within walking distance from the city centre or a short tram ride depending on where you’re staying.
The Manchester Central Travelodge can be reserved during the Easter Holidays for £37, which is still a good deal. In the May half term, the Manchester Central Arena Travelodge hotel is priced at £25.
