King Charles has delivered yet another blow to his youngest son Prince Harry after he gave away his helicopter regiment to Prince William.
From next week the Prince of Wales will become Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps, which is Harry’s former regiment.
The confirmation ceremony will take place next Monday in from of an Apache, the type of helicopter flew when serving in Afghanistan.
This is the second snub Harry has suffered in less than 24 hours, as the King told him he was ‘too busy to see him’ after he flew from California to London.
He came to the UK for events marking the ten years of his Invictus Games.
Despite expectations the pair will reunite as the King undergoes cancer treatment, Harry revealed his dad’s programme is ‘too full’.
A spokesperson for the Prince said: ‘It unfortunately will not be possible due to His Majesty’s full programme.
‘The Duke of course is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon.’

Harry’s wife Meghan and their two children Archie and Lilibet did not travel with him.
The Duke of Sussex is attending an Invictus Games discussion called ‘Realising a Global Community’ before today’s 10th anniversary service at St Paul’s cathedral.
He did invite Prince William and other senior members of the Royal Family to the service but none of them are expected to attend, sources told Page Six.
Charles was photographed yesterday being driven from Windsor Castle before arriving at Clarence House.
He resumed public duties last week for the first time since he started cancer treatment.
What was Prince Harry's regiment?
The Army Air corps was formed in 1957 and takes part in combat operations around the world.
They use aircraft such as the Apache attack helicopter to offer support during the key stages of battle.
They also observe enemies from above ground and pass information onto troops on the ground.
The Duke of Sussex served in the Army for 10 years, and underwent two tours of Afghanistan.
In 2007 he was deployed to Afghanistan for 10 weeks working as a forward air controller, which co-ordinated airstrikes on the Taliban.
In 2012 he retrained an Apache pilot in the Army Air Corps and retuned to Afghanistan as a helicopter co-pilot and gunner.

It is not believed Prince William be seeing his brother.
Harry is again expected to stay in a hotel during his brief time in the UK, as he no longer has the keys to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor following his move to the US.

It is the first visit Harry has made to the UK since his siser-in-law Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnosis.
But he is understood to have made contact with the Princess of Wales ‘privately’.
They also released a statement, saying: ‘We wish health and healing for Kate and the family.’
It will also be the first major event he attends in the country for some time due to his ongoing legal battle over his personal security arrangements with the Home Office.
