Another evil Coronation Street character is set to make his way back to the cobbles – after recent episodes saw the return of dangerous villains including abuser Nathan Curtis (Chris Harper) and terrorist Griff Reynolds (Michael Condron).
Actor Luca Toolan, who played vile bully Mason Radcliffe, has been spotted by fans outside the Coronation Street set, as he is back filming for the ITV soap.
Taking to Instagram, Corrie fan Liam posted a picture of himself with the actor, writing that it was ‘nice meeting you’.
Mason was last seen on screen in April, after being found guilty of threatening Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall) with a knife.

Over a period of several months, Mason and his cronies subjected poor Liam to some vile bullying, from throwing his school bag around and destroying his projects, to targeting him with online abuse.
This disgusting behaviour left Liam terrified, and even led him to research ways to end his life. When Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) found out, she was distraught, and was determined to get justice for her son.

‘It’s had a massive impact on Maria’s mental health, she’s had obsessive thoughts, she won’t leave Liam alone for a second,’ actress Samia Longchambon recently revealed.
‘She’s not been able to think of anything else, her work has taken a backseat and so has her relationship while her focus has been on Liam, obsessively so.’

When Liam admitted that Mason had threatened him with a knife, Mason was finally arrested.
In court, the judge revealed that she had no choice but to give Mason a custodial sentence, as this wasn’t his first offence.
