Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) shared an emotional moment with girlfriendEve Unwin (Heather Peace) in recent EastEnders scenes amid her fears that Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) may end up facing the same fate as his dead brother Jags.
Suki and Vinny have concocted a plan to win back Suki’s businesses from dying ex-husband Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry), but Eve has struggled to get on board.
After learning about the secret plot, Eve gave Suki an ultimatum: Her or the money.
Of course, Suki’s plot had nothing to do with Nish’s money, as she explained to Eve the following day, when they’d both had time to cool off.
She explained that the businesses she had built were her life’s work, and the legacy she would leave for her children, and that she couldn’t just let Nish give all that away.
Nish decided to rewrite his will to leave everything to the Gurdwara after the family failed to accept him back into the fold after he revealed that he was dying.
Desperate to win back what she had worked so hard for, Suki masterminded a plot that has so far seen Vinny pretend to forgive his father, and get close to him in the hopes that he will rewrite his will and leave everything to Vinny.
Following Suki’s explanation, Eve revealed that she understood, but admitted that she was worried Suki was putting Vinny in danger, given what Nish is capable of.
Last year, Nish tried to have Eve murdered after learning about her affair with Suki, so it is no wonder that she is afraid of what he might do.
However, an emotional Suki pointed out that Vinny had made the decision to get involved himself, and after what had happened to Jags she would never deliberately put one of her kids in danger.
