Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) got a huge shock earlier this year when his estranged father Stevie Mitchell (Alan Ford) crawled out of the woodwork in EastEnders, despite Phil Mitchell’s (Steve McFadden) best efforts to keep him away.
However, they are set to receive an even bigger shock when it transpires that Stevie has been hiding a secret family.
This summer, Stevie’s son Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) rocks up in Walford with sons Harry and Barney (Elijah Holloway and Lewis Bridgeman) in tow, on the hunt for his dad.
However, he gets more than he bargained for when he comes face to face with Phil, Billy and the rest of the Mitchells, and tensions run high as Stevie is forced to admit that Teddy and Billy are half-brothers.
Speaking about their arrival, executive producer Chris Clenshaw said: ‘The arrival of Teddy, Harry and Barney will be a seismic shock for Billy and an unwelcome surprise for Phil.
‘With their arrival sparking more questions than answers, it’s not long before the Mitchells find themselves at war as Teddy and his sons are thrust into the heart of the drama.’
With a whole new branch of the Mitchell family hitting Albert Square, there is no limit to what drama they could be set to bring.
We know that gang crime runs deep in the Mitchell family history, with Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) recently teasing Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman) that he would need to learn how to fire a gun if he were to take up a job with Phil.

Could the introduction of the new family members see the family return to their roots, and bring more gangster chaos to the Square?
The release of a new promo picture ahead of the newcomers’ arrival highlighted the fact that Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) is the only adult Mitchell woman left.
Over the years, we’ve seen the likes of Sam, Ronnie and Roxy come and go, and the likes of Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), Tiffany Mitchell (Martine McCutcheon) and Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) marry into the family.
But could Honey set to follow in the footsteps of the great Peggy Mitchell and become the new Mitchell matriarch?

Actress Emma Barton is a fan of that idea, having previously said that it’s ‘lovely’ to be one of the only remaining Mitchell women.
‘To have that role – the Mitchell women are renowned for being extremely strong. We’ve seen some really strong sides of Honey when she’s needed to, and especially when it comes to her family, that’s when she really will step up. As Honey’s grown over the years, we have seen that.
‘And I think she’s got a good pact with Phil now, a good relationship with Phil. I think he suddenly got a bit more respect for her, and she has him.

When speaking about his role as Harry, actor Elijah Holloway said: ‘Harry has a lot of charm and swagger, but he’s got a bit of a temper, too. He can’t resist trouble, or the ladies, so he’s ready to shake things up in typical Mitchell style!’
It sounds as though Harry has the potential to cause some trouble among the women in the Square – will he find love, or end up breaking a few hearts?
