Chelsea Fox (Zaarah Abrahams) has been struggling under the weight of her guilt following the club crush in EastEnders, and next week sees her make a big confession.
As fans know, Chelsea inadvertently caused the emergency incident at Peggy’s after tampering with the club’s booking system in an attempt to sabotage boss Penny Branning’s (Kitty Castledine) event.
So far, she has kept quiet letting rival Penny take the blame, after police found evidence that extra tickets had been sold online through Penny’s login to the ticketing system.
However, an anxious Chelsea spills to her mum Denise Fox (Diane Parish) next week, as she anxiously waits to find out if the victims will be alright.
Her former step-sister Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadds) was one of those who were seriously injured following the crush, and Denise supports her ex Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) at the hospital as they tell Amy about her extent of her injuries.

She is later alarmed to find Chelsea accosting a nurse for an update on the other victims, but is soon distracted by the arrival of Penny and Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa).
She tries to convince Penny to come clean, but Penny remains adamant she is not to blame.
Later, Denise finds Chelsea in a state and comforts her back at No.20 where Chelsea then reveals all about her involvement in the club crush…

As some eagle-eyed fans may have already spotted, EastEnders’ autumn trailer, which previews the drama for The Six as Dean Wicks’ murder trial arrives, offers a clue as to what happens next.
It features a scene in which Denise can be heard saying: ‘If you don’t confess now, you’ll be in so deep, because guilt haunts,’ and the person she is talking to is actually Chelsea.
Will Chelsea be forced into making a confession, and seal her fate for a spell behind bars?
