Shortly after Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) was diagnosed with a brain tumour in Emmerdale, she started to feel smothered by her family.
They all meant well by doing things for her but to Moira, it felt as though they were treating her like a child.
After recognising how his sister was feeling, Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb) let her look after Isaac (Bobby Dunsmuir) alone, despite knowing that wasn’t advised due to Moira’s seizures.
Moira managed to look after Isaac for a little while, but disaster struck when she experienced a seizure, leaving the young lad without any care.
Fortunately, quick-thinking Isaac called an ambulance, leading to Cain (Jeff Hordley) coming home shortly after.

Coming up, Moira is once again put out thanks to the arrival of Matty (Ash Palmisciano). He has a holdall and explains he’s moving in.
With Matty and Mack worried about Moira’s erratic behaviour, Mack later discovers the sheep have escaped from their field.
He immediately accuses Moira, who agrees not to go out alone.
In the week, the family face further drama when Mack and Matty discover multiple sheep aren’t moving.

When Moira gets to the farm, she’s told most of the sheep are dead and one of them is in a bad state.
As Moira struggles to remember what’s happened, she gets upset but accepts that she needs to stop working for the time being.
Throughout the production of the storyline, Emmerdale has worked closely alongside the charities Brains Trust and The Brain Tumour Charity in order to tell Moira’s story authentically and realistically.
