Coronation Street has confirmed the arrival of Mason Radcliffe’s (Luca Toolan) troublesome brother.
Mason made his arrival last year ahead of a storyline that focused on him, Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne) and a group of lads relentlessly bully Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall).
As a result of him threatening Liam with a knife during this ordeal, Mason was arrested and sent to prison.
When he was released, Mason struggled to adapt to life in Weatherfield after time behind bars. Luck was on his side eventually though, as the teen found a friend in Stu (Bill Fellows), who gave him a job at Speed Daal.
Unfortunately, Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) framed Mason for theft while in the restaurant a few weeks ago. It resulted in him going back to the young offenders’ unit.
In upcoming episodes, Stu remains determined to help Mason and supports him as he sets off for college.
However, when Stu trips over a jumper, he grows suspicious when Mason quickly picks it up and stuffs it back inside his bag.
Towards the end of the week, Mason spots his violent brother Logan watching him from his car.
Up until now, we have only learnt about Mason’s sibling through what he’s had to say about him.
Next week, star Harry Lowbridge will grace our screens in his debut scenes as the new character.
Sharing the good news of his casting on his Instagram, the star said: ‘I WILL BE JOINING THE CAST OF CORONATION STREET AS, “Logan Radcliffe!” 💪💪
‘Super grateful for this opportunity. Let’s see what he has in store for little bro Mason.’

Following Mason and Logan’s confrontation, Stu and Yasmeen (Shelley King) will return home and find someone has thrown a brick through their window.
Stu tells Yasmeen that he suspects Logan, as he was trying to force Mason to take part in a robbery.
