United come from behind to win!

A superb second-half display from United as goals from Garnacho and Hojlund give their side a first win in six games and ease the pressure ever so slightly on Ten Hag.

A shame for Brentford but they were simply overawed by the hosts after the break.

90+5 mins: Brentford ready a long throw as United look to cling on. Noorgard launches it in but United hack it clear. It’s pumped back in but Carvalho drags it wide with his eventual effort.

That could be that.

90+1 mins: Into the first of five minutes of added time as the superb Garnacho makes way for Mazraoui as United try to sure up this result.

88 mins: And Casemiro does make way as Ugarte comes on to replace him.

Lindelof also comes on as Evans departs.

87 mins: A late change for Brentford as Roerslev comes on for Van den Berg.

And United are readying a change or two as Casemiro signals that he needs to come off.

84 mins: More chances for United to put the game to bed but Rashford sees an effort blocked before Garnacho’s long shot is comfortably gathered by Flekken.

81 mins: CHANCE! Rashford dinks it into Zirkzee’s path but the substitute can’t bring it under his control and the chances goes begging. The Dutchman should do better.

78 mins: Casemiro has looked good this second half and tries to get himself on the scoresheet but it’s wide from long range.

74 mins: Ajer is shown a yellow card for a late challenge on Hojlund and the United striker makes way shortly after to be replaced by Zirkzee.

Brentford make a double change in response as Carvalho and Yarmolyuk replace Schade and Janelt.

72 mins: Brentford looking to get themselves on the ball more to wrestle some momentum back in this second half. They’ve really struggled so far.

68 mins: Route one from United as Dalot collects Onana’s pass and surges through on goal but it’s a smart save from Flekken who makes himself big to deny the Portuguese full-back.

A superb finish and United are ahead!

Fernandes receives the ball on the edge of the box and with his back to goal, but it’s a superb flick around the corner to Hojlund who takes a couple of touches before delicately chipping the ball over Flekken and into the far corner.

What a second-half turnaround this has been by the home side.

61 mins: Garnacho a threat once again but no United player can connect with his low cross. Rashford recycles the ball but Casemiro’s eventual cross is headed over by Fernandes.

55 mins: A couple of yellow cards in quick succession. First for Dalot, then for Norgaard. It’s been a frantic start to this second half.

52 mins: Now Fernandes attacks down the right but his low cross is cleared away with Hojlund looking to pounce.

51 mins: United are purring now and Garnacho is right at the heart of it. A superb, mazy run from the Argentine but Flekken does well to push his eventual effort around the post.

United are level!

Just the start Ten Hag would have wanted from his side after the break. A superb ball from Rashford to the back post and an unmarked Garnacho makes no mistake this time, thumping it home past Flekken to level things up.
