Cindy Beale’s (Michelle Collins) true colours could be exposed in EastEnders after Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) discovers her role in a shocking incident.
The stage is set for Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) and George Knight’s (Colin Salmon) wedding in the BBC soap next week.
But amid the nuptials, George’s ex Cindy once again gets closer to his son Junior Knight (Micah Balfour), who she recently called off an illicit affair with.
With their steamy romance seemingly reignited, they are spotted together by George’s brother Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho).
Desperate to keep their secret, Cindy follows him through the Square, but things get tense as she tries to convince him to keep quiet leading to a struggle with serious consequences.
Lauren soon arrives at the scene and is horrified to see what’s happened to Kojo and calls for an ambulance, as Cindy protests her innocence.
However, Lauren soon has reason to doubt Cindy’s version of events when she lies to fiancée Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) in front of her about her whereabouts at the time.
Believing she has the upper hand, Lauren tells Cindy she is onto her and vows to make it her mission to find out what Cindy is hiding.
