Romance may be on the cards for Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) and Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) in Coronation Street after the pair shared a kiss in recent scenes.
Alya returned to our screens earlier this week, shadowing the solicitor representing Matty Radcliffe (Seamus McGoff), and it didn’t take long for her and Adam to start chatting.
In tonight’s episode, Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger) and Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) observed the pair across the cafe, and couldn’t help reflecting on what a lovely couple they were.
Alya was quick to put them straight, though Glenda and Bernie refused to ignore the chemistry between the pair.
With Alya needing to rush off to work, Adam arranged to meet her later in the Rovers.

Over a drink, the pair caught up on what they’d been up to while they were apart, with Adam admitting to exploring dating sites.
However, he revealed that he was keen to take Alya on a date, and they later headed to the Bistro for dinner.
