Kate Middleton looked like Mrs Christmas as she arrived at Westminster Abbey for her annual Carol Service.
The Princess of Wales wore a fabulous red tartan skirt by Emilia Wickstead, with a long red wool coat by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen over the top.
It’s not the first time the royal has been spotted in the coat, as she’s worn it to several engagements over the years – including the launch of her Hold Still photography exhibition in 2020, and at the Rugby League World Cup in 2022.
However, she’s breathed new life into the ensemble by adding one of this season’s biggest fashion trends – a bow. Kate added a large velvet black bow to the collar of the coat, which paired fabulously with the black buttons and her black suede heeled boots.
The outfit was finished off with large gold and pearl drop earrings, a gold bangle and her iconic sapphire and diamond engagement ring.

This special festive evening marks the sixth time the 42-year-old has officially appeared in public since her cancer diagnosis in March 2024.
The 42-year-old has opted to wear Alexander McQueen coats and coat dresses for several of her appearances over the last few weeks.
She was recently seen in a black Alexander McQueen coat dress for the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall in November, and earlier this week for the Qatar state visit on December 3, Kate greeted the Emir of Qatar wearing a burgundy coat by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen.
The look was completed Gianvito Rossi Rhymes boots, which are no longer available, but retailed for £1,315, and a Sahar Millinery Teardrop Beret, made exclusively for Kate.

For the carol concert at Westminster, Kate will preside over the Together at Christmas service, which will celebrate individuals who have supported others.
