Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) attempts to break up ex-husband Teddy (Roland Manookian) and his new girlfriend Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) in EastEnders next week.
Viewers of the BBC One soap will remember that in June, Sharon confessed her love for Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) after admitting that she was partly responsible for the murder of Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters).
The two then kissed – and they said romance was dead!
Despite this, neither of them have acted on their feelings, despite declaring one another ‘soulmates’.
In the meantime, Teddy has began making a move on Sharon, and in upcoming scenes they prepare to tell their former partners that they’re giving things a go.
Nicola, who has already crossed Sharon’s path, is gearing up for the launch party of Harry’s Barn – the new name for Peggy’s night club – when she hears that the two have spent the night together.
She threatens to throw a spanner in the works and wind Phil up over the matter, hoping that he’ll retaliate. Teddy warns her not to cause anymore trouble.
After failing to make Phil a co-conspirator, Nicola heads to his house but is taken aback by what she finds.
What is he hiding?
It becomes clear that Phil doesn’t want her there, and promises him that she’ll keep his secret – before spilling everything to Sharon.
She hopes that the revelation will make Sharon concerned for her ex-husband, therefore reuniting them so that she can get her hands on Teddy.
Later, Nicola stirs the pot and reveals to Teddy about Sharon and Phil’s earlier kiss, and that they’re actually back together but are keeping it on the down-low.

With the bar re-opening party underway, Nicola is surprised when Phil and Sharon reveal her scheme to the other Mitchells, with Jay (Jamie Borthwick) clocking that Phil seems isolated from the clan.
