There’s a Christmas mystery ahead in Emmerdale as dramatic events take place at Home Farm – and in the war of Kim Tate (Claire King) v Will Taylor (Dean Andrews), it looks like Killer Kim could have struck again.
Ever since Kim discovered that Will cheated on her with Rose Jackson (Christine Tremarco), the couple have been plotting and counter-plotting against each other, starting with Kim staging an elaborate blackmail plot to gain revenge.
More recently we’ve seen Will plotting with Kim’s former financial adviser Peter Mansfield (David Michaels) to bring Kim down, but there’s also a mysterious third party involved in this who’s delaying proceedings, much to Will’s frustration.
Meanwhile, on the surface all is well between the couple and they’re planning to renew their vows at Christmas.
This is all a ruse on Will’s part, but it seems that Kim has been entirely taken in by it and is excited at the prospect of the romantic ceremony to signal that she and Will are back on an even keel again after all their problems.
Sorry, this video isn't available any more.

Things start to unravel somewhat for Will’s plan when Kim invites Dawn (Olivia Bromley) to the vow renewal after Will had been pressing for it to be an intimate affair with just the two of them. Obviously having his daughter and her family in attendance makes it more difficult for Will to carry out whatever it is he has planned.
Even worse for him, Kim asks Dawn to move back into Home farm and Will is alarmed when she turns up with all her belongings, wondering how he’s going to enact his plan.
Christmas arrives, and Will gets an unwelcome visit from Peter who’s pressing him to put their plan in motion on Christmas Day.
On Christmas Eve Kim takes her horse out for a ride. But it’s not long before we see her horse wandering on its own in a field – and Kim is nowhere to be seen. What’s happened to her? Could Will have carried out his plan and done something terrible to his wife?
Or is there a Kim-shaped twist in this tale? The next thing we see is a disturbing flash-forward. We see Home Farm in disarray, with a Christmas tree on the ground and signs of a struggle. But what’s happened in the meantime?
