A remote house with a replica Millennium Falcon flight desk is on the market for £1,750,000 – and it’s the perfect property for Star Wars fans.
Surrounded by woodland on the outskirts of Leeds, the 1.8 acre property has five bedrooms, four bathrooms and four reception rooms – plus its crowning glory, a spaceship-shaped cinema room.
The cinema is kitted out with a replica of the Star Wars Millennium Falcon and a life-size Darth Vader figure, and there’s also a pool table for good measure.
The carpet is a plush velvet grey, while twinkling stars in the panels of the walls give it an extra-terrestrial feel.

‘You don’t have to be a movie buff to appreciate the cinema and games rooms,’ the Zoopla listing reads, adding that the interiors took ‘years to complete.’

‘The aesthetics transport you inside the theatre and drama of ‘Star Wars’ where this incredible room has been designed for ultimate relaxation and entertainment, featuring a full-size pool table, games and drinks area, surround sound, a projector screen, and fully reclining cinema seats.’
Naturally, the home has attracted plenty of attention since it went up for sale – and even made it to the SpottedonRightmove Reddit thread not once, not twice, but three times.

‘I’ve bookmarked this as if one day I will be able to afford it,’ @Smooth_Imagination penned in the comments, while @BaconPancakes1 was particularly drawn to the ‘bookshelf full of wine in the hall’ with ‘quite the reading list.’
‘I was not prepared for quite how millennium falcon themed it was,’ @twovectors added, while @spattzzz labelled it ‘one of a kind’ and ‘remarkable…as long as you don’t look at your neighbours.’
In a previous thread, the owner appeared to get involved to clarify a few questions from Reddit users – including one who wondered whether the house was a little close to the neighbouring property.

‘Myself and our neighbour built the houses and there are only two of us in a large wood,’ the apparent owner, posting under the username @bedmoosed_66, penned.
‘They are very different houses both in layout and style. Theirs is smaller too due to the plot of land layout.’
Likewise, another user was concerned about the so-called ‘death stairs’ – which have gaps beneath each wooden step and a relatively open space.
‘Let me assure you as the owner/builder of the house, I’ve never once fallen or slipped on those stairs and neither has anyone else. Perfectly safe,’ the owner further clarified.
This Leeds property isn’t the only place that’ll appeal to Star Wars fans. Last month, the childhood home of Peter Cushing, who played Grand Moff Tarkin in Star Wars, went up for sale to the tune of £995,000.

Found at 32 St James’ Road in Purley, Croydon, the home was awarded Blue Plaque status in 2018, almost 30 years after his death.

Peter, who famously appeared in more than 100 films including The Revenge of Frankenstein, The Hound of the Baskervilles and Dracula, lived at the address between 1925 and 1936 when he attended Purley County Secondary School.
In 2018, owners Paul and Jenny Camlett recalled their experiences moving in, when many locals would ask them if they knew Peter Cushing lived here – as these were the days before the property was awarded Blue Plaque status.
‘A policeman came to the door once and we thought something was wrong,’ Paul told Your Local Guardian at the time.
