TV icon Stacey Solomon has shared how Joe Swash reacted to the news he’d be filming naked during his EastEnders return.
On Monday, Joe reprised his role as Mickey Miller in the soap after 14 years.
The beloved character had heard about the potential market closure on Bridge Street, and wanted to make a donation to try and help.
Old mate Mo Harris (Laila Morse) was completely taken aback to see Mickey again, even more so when he revealed he’s actually a successful businessman now.
After making a donation to Mo’s project, Mickey took part in her charity calendar preparations.

It involved posing naked but when Mickey learnt that Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) had plastered the snaps over her social media, he started to worry customers at Miller’s Villas might see it as distasteful.
With that, Mickey, Mo and Martin Fowler (James Bye) decided to create new pictures. This time, Mickey covered his candy cane and two baubles with a giant present, and used a small eye mask in an attempt to hide his identity.
After filming these scenes, Joe returned home to wife Stacey and opened up about returning to Albert Square, along with baring all.

The presenter appeared in last night’s episode of The One Show and said: ‘I remember him coming home from filming it and telling me, “Stace, I ain’t seen them all in years and I had to stand in front of them naked with a little thing in front of my…”‘.
Stacey went on to talk about how Joe was beyond thrilled to head back to Walford, a place where he made lifelong memories.

To his surprise, Mickey’s mum confirmed the pictures had actually created a positive impact on the business – there was no need to cover his face after all.
With the donations made, Mickey was ready to leave. He hugged a tearful Mo and glanced out in front of him, reflecting on the life he once lived in Walford.
