President-elect Donald Trump appeared to flaunt a new hairdo, breaking from his signature bouffant combover look that he’s sported for decades.
Trump, 78, debuted the different hairstyle while greeting fans at his golf club in West Palm Beach on Tuesday.
He walked into a room at Trump International Golf Club holding a red Make America Great Again hat in his left hand, while waving to supporters. Trump’s light blond hair was slicked back, revealing more of his receding hairline than usual.
‘Everybody having a good time?’ Trump said in short video clip shared on X (formerly Twitter) by MAGA fan Michael Solakiewicz. ‘Is everybody a Republican?’

His fans cheered and screamed: ‘Yes!’
Trump kept his hat off while a woman presented him with an award and thanked him for his service and what he has done to ‘save America’.
Just the day before during a wide-ranging press conference at Mar-a-Lago on Monday, Trump had his usual hairdo that he’s donned as a businessman and in his first term in the White House.
It was not clear if Trump had a haircut, an intentional change in style, or if his hair simply looked different after taking off his cap.

X users quickly shared their thoughts on the new ‘do.
‘Make Mullets Great Again!’ wrote a user and posted an edited image of Trump with the sides of his hair shaved off and longer, fuller hair in the back.
Another user wrote, ‘Golf hair. Not new,’ and shared what looked like a younger picture of Trump with his hair slicked back.
Some users branded the look as the incoming president’s ‘2025’ form.

‘I’m getting my hair did tomorrow and will be asking for the Trump 2025 look,’ wrote a user.
Many users complimented Trump.
‘This hair unlocks a unique and powerful aura that we’ve only seen a handful of times,’ wrote a MAGA fan.
Others had their own suggestions.

‘He NEEDS to do this!!!!’ wrote an X user and shared an edited image of Trump bald and with a beard.
A user bashed Trump on something beside his hair: ‘My god . He looks awful.. must be pushing 450+ pounds.’

Trump has long been reported to be particular about his hair.
His eldest daughter, Ivanka Trump, allegedly detailed her father’s hair process.

‘She often described the mechanics behind it to friends: an absolutely clean pate – a contained island after scalp-reduction surgery – surrounded by a furry circle of hair around the sides and front, from which all ends are drawn up to meet in the center and then swept back and secured by a stiffening spray,’ journalist Michael Wolff wrote of Ivanka in his 2018 book Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House.
And porn star Stormy Daniels claimed in her 2018 memoir Full Disclosure that Trump told her ‘every celebrity stylist’ had offered to change his unusual hairstyle but that he refused because ‘it’s my thing. It’s my trademark.’
