The Traitors star Minah Shannon has impressed viewers with her efforts since being selected to deceive her fellow contestants on the hit BBC show.
The third season is currently underway, and while the Faithfuls managed to uncover and banish Armani Gouveia in the first week, they have no clue about Minah’s true role in the game.
Inspired by her approach, viewers have declared she is ‘playing a phenomenal game’ and is an ‘absolute puppet master’.
The 29-year-old call centre manager from Liverpool has admitted she ‘likes playing pranks on people and telling them little white lies, innocent lies’ but was ‘nervous’ ahead of the show at the prospect of becoming a Traitor.
Here’s everything we know about her before the next episode, including what she’d spend the prize money on if she managed to make it to the end undetected.
Why did Minah sign up to The Traitors?

After applying for season 2, Minah was in the running to appear however couldn’t get the time off work.
But after trying again, the stars aligned, and she was able to head up to Scotland to play the ultimate game of deception.

‘After season two, people kept saying to me that I’d be so good on that show, so I applied again, and here I am!’ she said.
‘There’s nothing like it on the telly. Me, my husband and my mother-in-law love the show.’
She also said her competitive nature and athletic ability would help give her an edge.
‘I feed off people’s energy. If someone’s doing something I’m going do it too. I’ll probably do a little bit of a better job. So yes, I’m a bit competitive!’ she said
What do we know about her life away from the show?

Minah married her husband Liam nearly five years ago, with the couple also sharing two-year-old daughter Luna.
She regularly shares life updates on her Instagram account, with her life milestones documented over the years.
In 2017 she announced her engagement, alongside sweet photos of her looking shocked after her now-husband got down on one knee.
After a delay in their wedding date due to the pandemic, Minah and Liam were married in December 2020.
Sharing photos from the church, Minah wrote: ‘Yesterday I finally got to marry my bestest friend and I’m still on the biggest high. Thank you to everyone who was a part of the day but also everyone who couldn’t be there due to Covid and still sent us all best wishes! Our next chapter begins Mr Shannon.’

Two years later she announced the arrival of their daughter.
‘Our whole world changed this weekend. 28.05.2022 our baby girl was born exactly how I dreamt her to be! At home, in the water. Completely in love with you darling,’ she commented a post which included snaps of her baby girl.
In June last year she also posted a sweet tribute for her daughter’s birthday.
‘Happy 2nd Birthday to our perfect, sassy, magical girl! Luna we really are so lucky to be your mummy and daddy! The biggest star ever!’
Over the years she’s also shared snaps from her travels, including a trip to Uganda in 2020 and a holiday to Lisbon a year ago.
What will she spend the prize money on?

Before appearing on the show, Minah was asked how she’d spend the prize money if she secured the win.
The first thing I’d do is book me and my husband a honeymoon. We got married in December 2020, in the height of Covid, and we had a really small wedding, which was lovely, but it wouldn’t have been my choice, and we didn’t get a honeymoon,’ she said.
‘I’d love for us to go traveling around America for three weeks.

‘I’d also use the money for a house deposit, which would be amazing.’
Speaking of what she’d be willing to do to win, Minah explained how she’d ‘do anything’.
‘But I also like to be honest with people and I think I’d struggle betraying people I’d become close to. I think in the back of my mind though I’d think I’m doing this for my family and that trumps any of the friendships I might possibly make,’ she added.
