What could be better than a January filled with weekly episodes of The Traitors?
Series 3 of the UK version has sadly come to an end after weeks of dramatic roundtables, shocking banishments, and even more shocking confessions.
As Claudia Winkleman’s hit BBC series returned to cure all of our January blues, over seven million tuned in to watch Leanne Quigley and Jake Brown split £94,600 in a nail-biting final.
But while one finale has aired, that doesn’t mean we need to say goodbye to The Traitors completely.
Enter the triple Emmy award-winning version from across the pond, The Traitors US.
Hosted by Scottish presenter Alan Cumming, the popular reality game of trust and betrayal is back on our screens for another star-studded American edition.

The concept is exactly the same: host Alan selects his suited Traitors, who must then conceal their identity while ‘murdering’ Faithfuls in the dead of night.

The celebrity cast must compete in challenges to raise the prize pot, but must also avoid banishment if they wish to take home a prize pot of up to $250,000 (£205,000).
Everyone’s favourite murder-mystery show has been a huge hit in both the UK and the US, and figures are now set to skyrocket following season 3’s launch, as we all seek to fill that Traitors void for a little bit longer.
When are the new Traitors US episodes out?
On Friday, January 24, BBC iPlayer began releasing a bumper five episodes for UK fans to binge.
Then, from Monday, January 27, episodes will air on BBC Three.
An episode a week will drop each Friday until early March.
Naturally, the series is set to be filled with chaos, secret-keeping (and spilling), and intense showdowns, so tread carefully across social media should you wish to steer clear of overseas spoilers.

The Traitors US 2025 cast revealed:
Previous seasons of the US edition have included stellar casts comprising Love Island royalty Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, former politician John Bercow, and RuPaul’s Drag Race queen Peppermint.
This time around, the casting team truly stepped it up and utilised every cent of their budget.
Carolyn Wiger

Carolyn Wiger is an internet personality famous for appearing on Survivor 44.
The proudly eccentric and openly emotional star made it to the final and finished as the second runner-up.
She also left the programme with an army of new fans, as a Gold Derby poll after the 2023 finale found that 54% of viewers believed she should’ve won.
Tom Sandoval

Anthony Sandoval is an American TV personality known as a cast member on Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules.
In 2023, he also competed in the US version of The Masked Singer as Diver.

He’s amassed a big following on social media and frequently shares snaps from his travels around the world.

Ivar Mountbatten

Lord Ivar Mountbatten is a British aristocrat, farmer, geologist, and businessman—yes, he has plenty of strings to his bow.
His name probably gives it away, but he is, indeed, connected to royalty as his father, David Mountbatten, was the first cousin of Prince Phillip.
He was also the first member of the extended British royal family to come out publicly as gay.
Bob the Drag Queen

Bob the Drag Queen – real name Christopher Delmar Caldwell – became famous upon winning the eighth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
He has an extensive career in showbiz, having appeared in music videos and even on the theatre stage.

The winners were two Faithfuls: CT Tamburello and Trishelle Cannatella—the pair got to split the prize fund, which had built up to a whopping $208,000 (£170,000).
The Challenge alumni stuck together throughout the show, yet viewers were shocked when Trishelle betrayed CT in the nail-biting finale. Luckily the vote drew a tie, so the model was able to change her answer and win the game with her on-screen bestie.
