EastEnders’ Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) received a chilling warning on Thursday, as her attacker proved they were ready to strike again.
As fans know, the Walford legend was whacked over the head with a shovel and left for dead on Christmas Day after the truth about her affair with Junior Knight (Micah Balfour) was revealed.
Since waking from her coma, Cindy has been convinced that daughter-in-law Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) was responsible.
But after being discharged from hospital during the latest episode of the BBC soap, it became clear that Cindy might have been looking in the wrong place.
After moving into Reiss Colwell’s (Jonny Freeman) spare room, fans saw Cindy receive a call from a furious Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thaira), who believed she had told Lauren he was the dealer who’d been supplying her with pills.
After learning Lauren had tried to score off Ravi the previous day, Cindy confronted Lauren, with son Peter (Thomas Law) standing up for his pregnant partner.

Back at their flat, Peter broke down in tears as he opened up to Lauren about what it was like growing up believing Cindy had died in prison, and his complicated feelings towards her since finding out she was alive back in 2023.
With Peter’s outpouring on her mind, Lauren headed over to No. 25 to see Cindy and try to call a truce.
Maintaining she saw Lauren around the time of her attack, Cindy begged her for the truth.

But just as it looked like Lauren was about to reveal all, a brick came crashing through the living room window.
