A benefit concert to raise funds for victims of the Los Angeles wildfire was announced last week and we finally know who will be performing.
The line-up for FireAid was initially kept under wraps, with fans wildly speculating as it takes place the same weekend as the Grammys, both set to be held in California.
Spanning two venues, FireAid will see the likes of Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Katy Perry, Sting, Stevie Nicks and Sir Rod Stewart perform.
Funds raised by FireAid, which is being organised in conjunction with Live Nation and AEG Presents, will go towards ‘rebuilding infrastructure and supporting displaced families’.

A post on the concert’s official Instagram page revealed: ‘Two venues. One night. Your favourite artists coming together for music and solidarity.

‘Contributions made to FireAid will be distributed under the advisement of the Annenberg Foundation and will be distributed for short-term relief efforts and long-term initiatives to prevent future fire disasters throughout California.’
The show will be split between two venues; the Intuit Dome and the Kia Forum, with no formal headliners.
Instead, artists are mixed in together with Billie Eilish performing with her brother Finneas while Lady Gaga plays at the other venue.
Sir Rod Stewart is set to perform at the Intuit Dome ahead of his Glastonbury Legends slot later this year.

Legacy artists like Earth Wind and Fire, Joni Mitchell, and Red Hot Chilli Peppers are on the billing as well as Dave Matthews in a first-ever collaboration with John Mayer.
The American singer wrote on Instagram: ‘It’s an honour to be in a position to help a cause as important as rebuilding lives and communities that were devastated by wildfires. I’ll be performing live next to one of my musical heroes, Dave Matthews at @fireaidla.’

Newcomers Gracie Abrams, Tate McRae, and Jelly Roll, who all shot to fame last year are mixed in with a healthy dose of 00s nostalgia from Gwen Stefani, Green Day, and Pink.
Performer Katy Perry has already stated that the revenue from her latest album, 143, which had a lukewarm reception last year, would be donated to help victims of the fire.
‘Truly inspired by my community’s activism,’ she wrote on X after the announcement. ‘So grateful to contribute in my own way.’
The massive show will be broadcast and streamed on numerous services including Apple Music and Apple TV, Netflix, Paramount Plus, Prime Video, SiriusXM, and YouTube.
It will also be aired in various cinemas across the US, although it’s currently unclear exactly where Brits will be able to watch it.

The concert hopes to bring together some of the biggest artists for an ‘evening of music and solidarity on January 30.
FireAid donations will also provide funding for ‘advancing fire prevention technologies and strategies to ensure LA is better prepared for fire emergencies.’
Over 30,000 residents have been told to evacuate their homes as the blaze continues to destroy much of the historic Pacific Palisades and surrounding area.
At least 24 people are thought to have died in the fires that have raged across the city since January 7.

Celebrities such as Adam Brody and Leighton Meester and Seinfield’s Julia Louis-Dreyfus have had their homes reduced to rubble in the worst wildfire in the city’s history.

Many X users were calling for local priority access for tickets, allowing those most impacted by the wildfires to attend for free.
While the fundraiser relies on ticket sales, provisions for those affected are normal for an event like this.
Additionally, Hotels and Airbnbs have been offered as temporary housing to those who have been displaced so anyone hoping to attend from out of town would struggle to find a place to stay.
