Wynne Evans has been going above and beyond in his Strictly partnership with Katya Jones.
The pair formed a firm friendship on the BBC entertainment show, and so Wynne, 52, decided to take it into his own hands to help Katya, 35, find a special someone.
He was like a prince cha-cha-charming for the professional dancer, but despite his best intentions things haven’t quite worked out.
To get the task done, Wynne threw the net wide and introduced Katya to ‘every man in Wales’. That sounds like a busy (but fun) Saturday night!
‘I did introduce her to every man in Wales. But unfortunately, none of them was good enough,’ he explained to Mail Online, seemingly upset his efforts didn’t result in a glitterball-worthy win.

Thankfully, Katya didn’t appear as upset and explained the pair had a great time regardless of the lack of dating success, admitting they were ‘too busy dancing in the end’ to really commit to the plan.
‘I am certainly still single,’ she told the news outlet.
The eligible bachelorette has been publicly single for over five years now after she and her then-dance partner, Seann Walsh, were spotted locking lips in London in 2018, despite the star reportedly having a girlfriend at the time.
Proving to be more than just a friendly snog, Katya, who at the time was married to Neil Jones, also of Strictly fame, announced they were separating shortly after.
While Neil has moved on with Chyna Mills, welcoming their first child together in 2023, Katya has other life plans.
The professional dancer has shared that she is dating with intention and told the news outlet that she has some very strict criteria when it comes to meeting Mr Right.
‘My standards are high. I am not going to lie. I am not one to waste my time with pointless chat if there’s no substance to the conversation either,’ she brazenly explained.
And she knows that won’t be something everyone enjoys about her, especially men.
She continued to say that Wynne’s efforts may have been doomed from the very beginning as she believes men are a bit afraid of approaching her in the first place.
‘They are probably too intimidated. They are that intimidated that they wouldn’t even take the first step,’ she said.

Katya and Wynne finished fifth place in the dancing competition and ran into a bit of trouble after the opera singer made a ‘silly joke’ about his dance partner.
During one of the live televised shows, fans were convinced they caught the star engaging in a bit of inappropriate behaviour after Wynne placed his hand on Katya’s waist and kept reaching it further around her midriff until she removed it with a smile on her face.
Once on alert, the eagle-eyed viewers also noticed Wynne’s failed attempt at securing a high-top from his 35-year-old pro partner, to which she pulled a rather unimpressed face before turning to face the camera with a grin as if nothing had happened.
Despite the uproar from fans, both Wynne and Katya repeatedly denied that he engaged in any sort of ‘inappropriate’ behaviour or upset her at all. They also apologised for any offence it may have caused, but insisted it was an ‘inside joke’.
