Joe Tate’s (Ned Porteous) presence in Emmerdale has ruffled a few feathers since his return over Christmas – not least Charity Dingle’s (Emma Atkins).
Charity has been determined to keep her son Noah Dingle (Jack Downham) away from his half-brother Joe, even enlisting the help of Ross Barton (Michael Parr) to warn him off.
However, an undeterred Joe has been orchestrating other ways to get close to his brother – although it has remained unclear if perhaps he has an ulterior motive for doing so.
In scenes to air on the ITV soap this week, Charity is left seething when Noah receives quite the offer from Joe.
As our spoiler video from Wednesday’s episode reveals, Noah is upset after receiving negative reviews about his business online, which duplicitous Joe has been secretly posting.

Joe arrives at the Woolpack and offers his support, before painting an enviable vision of working out in Dubai.
Suggesting he could pull some strings to get his brother a job over there, Noah seems keen on the idea.
However, fans will later see a furious Charity spooked at the prospect of her son leaving the village.

Already suspicious of Joe, what will Charity’s next move be?

Away from his relationships with other village residents, we also know Joe is hiding a secret regarding his health.
Could this have something to do with why he has been getting close to Noah?
Emmerdale airs these scenes on Wednesday 5 February at 7.30pm on ITV1 or stream first from 7am on ITVX.
