And that she does – her biggest fear is confirmed as she finds a little bag of white powder and she realises that her son is slipping into her own old drug-addled ways.

Turn the clock back a few years and it was Leyla shoving illegal substances up her nose. It almost cost her everything, including her life when she suffered a heart attack.
At the very least it cost her her marriage and the respect of everyone around her. Jacob repeating her mistakes when everything is so rosy in his life is gut-wrenching.
