Dillon Ray (Nathaniel Dass) is left reeling in Hollyoaks next week when Rex Gallagher (Jonny Labey) instructs him to steal from the restaurant where his boyfriend Lucas Hay (Oscar Curtis) works.
Lucas, as viewers know, acquired a job at The Hutch earlier this month after impressing Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) with his culinary skills while prepping a meal for Dillon.
The subsequent events led to Dillon and Lucas rekindling their romance and in a bid to mark their new era together, Dillon asked Lucas to move in with him.
Their new home is none other than Weirside View, where Lucas lived with dad Ste (Kieron Richardson) and stepdad James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) previously.
Dillon came by the opportunity to live in said house after Rex Gallagher (Jonny Labey) told him he could move in rent free.
Rex, as fans are aware, is attempting to manipulate and exploit Dillon as part of his and Grace Black’s (Tamara Wall) twisted racket and winning the teen’s trust is the first step in doing so.
The gangster stores a bag of money at Weirside View and next week he arrives to collect it. However, he soon tells Dillon that the bag in question has gone missing.
Dillon is horrified to learn that Rex’s boss works in drugs and, panicking, he agrees to help him find the cash.
Rex later returns with a cut on his face, which Dillon presumes is from his dodgy boss.

Rex spots an opportunity and fails to correct him and states that in order to help him set things right – and to prevent further violence – Dillon must steal from The Hutch.
Will Dillon do as Rex demands?
