
A British holidaymaker has been found dead in his hotel room in unexplained circumstances.
The man, in his 60s, was found on Friday morning at the hotel, which is inFuengirola, a Costa del Sol resort in Spain.
Staff at the venue, which authorities haven’t yet named, noticed he hadn’t checked out yesterday as he was supposed to.
Paramedics were called to the scene and pronounced him dead.
A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out and will be reported to a judge.
The man is believed to have been staying alone.
No signs of violence or any foul play were found in the room, according to sources.
