Comments made by Eamonn Holmes about Davina McCall’s Brit Awards 2025 outfit proved misogyny and ageism are still alive and well.
The former Big Brother presenter, 57, looked sensational in a sheer black lace dress and matching undergarments at the annual music bash
But on today’s GB News, Eamonn, 65 made a scathing comment about his friend’s look at Saturday’s O2 Arena event.
‘I was quite embarrassed by that,’ the former This Morning presenter said of her see-through dress.
‘I was with Davina, with her the night before, having dinner. I couldn’t look at her the same way…’
GB News guest Dawn Neesom then said: ‘She was wearing more than that when you were having dinner, hopefully?’

Eamonn replied: ‘She was. She was. She was in love with her life.’
On the right-wing news channel, the former ITV star and guests were discussing the UK’s biggest night in music.
Suzan Holder began: ‘Davina McCall, who looks great, she’s perfectly decent. She’s wearing a sheer dress over a bra and pants. She looks great. She’s been through a lot.
‘I don’t want to criticise another woman, but she’s in the paper because she’s competing with those other woman. I feel it’s a shame she feels she needs to do that.’
Eamonn wasn’t the only person getting their knickers in a twist over a female celebrity at the Brits.

ITV viewers threatened to complain to Ofcom after watching Sabrina Carpenter open the show with a raunchy tribute to the UK.
The Please, Please, Please singer, 25, took to the stage wearing a red sparkly military-style blazer dress and walked down an aisle lit up with the Union flag as performers dressed as King’s guard soldiers followed behind.
She then transformed into a red sparkly lingerie set as she performed her song Bed Chem, with sexy moves throughout, which proved too much for some viewers at home.
Among them was X user Charlie, who said: ‘Ofcom is gonna be getting lots of complaints tonight.’
‘As a dad of 11 and 13 year old girls I am fuming that this was the opening scenes of #BRITs2025,’ @Jugyman said.

Others rushed to defend the Espresso singer, with Efa writing: ‘Sabrina already getting ofcom complaints for her brits performance is so funny why does this country hate having fun.’
