Kat and Alfie were impressed when Tommy revealed he’d been speaking to a friend online who recommended a support group for Zack, who has been struggling with the death of close friend Martin Fowler (James Bye).
However, the tide turns later this week when Kat is left shaken by an outburst from Tommy.
He lashes out when she reveals she’s had to get rid of his computer, meaning he’s unable to chat to his friend.
In scenes to air next week, Kat still reeling from Tommy’s behaviour, but Alfie convinces her to open up to their son.
She invites him to the café where she shares her concerns and they attempt to put aside their differences.

But later, Kat panics when she returns from work to find Mo Harris (Laila Morse) has left Tommy alone with the twins. After seeing her lack of trust in him, Tommy shuts down.
Kat apologises to Tommy and gives him a new games console, which he eagerly boots up so he can chat to his new friend.
Kat grows concerned about Tommy’s mysterious online pal, and she attempts to read their messages.

Alfie catches her out and implores Kat to speak to Tommy, who eventually reveals all to his stunned mum.
